Born in Barcelona, Rosa Bosch began her career at the American Film Institute Film Festival in Los Angeles. From an administrative role, she was quickly promoted to curating programmes, fundraising and, in 1985, the development of the first Los Angeles Latin American Film Festival.Relocating to London in 1987, Bosch held a succession of prominent positions in the UK film industry over a 10-year period. As Deputy Head of Programming at the National Film Theatre (NFT) and later Deputy Director of The London Film Festival (LFF), she established international relationships on behalf of the festival, showcased UK talent and honed her expertise in attracting private and corporate arts sponsorship.Between 1996 and 1998 she served on the San Sebastian Film Festival Management Committeeand focused on international feature film programming. Additionally,she served as a consultant and advisor to film institutions and non-profit arts organisations in Canada, Cuba, France, Mexico, Spain and the USA.In 1998, she became a founding partner of the London-based production and international sales company, TequilaGang, together with Guillermo del Toro, Laura Esquivel, Bertha Navarro and Alejandra Moreno Toscano.
